Walmart Rose drive (9/17/16 - 9/18/16)

 Lehigh Valley Detachment 296 held a two day, Marine Corps League Rose, fundraising drive in front of the Walmart in Trexlertown, PA. We had set volunteers manning two posts on 2 1/2 hour shifts. During those two days we were able to raise a good amount of money to help us continue our mission to assist our community and veterans. Not only was the drive successful monetarily but we were able to talk to a lot of people and inform about the detachment and our mission. There were a lot of prospective members and we look forward to seeing them all in the future. I would like to thank, not only our volunteers, but also the people that came out to support us and donate to our cause.
